Came here for lunch on a saturday without a booking and got a table without having to wait. The food was delicious, especially the pressed sushi thing. Honestly I've never had sushi like that before and i loved it. We also had a nice coffee after. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner!
Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service, and cozy ambiance. From the moment we arrived until we left welcomed and pampered by the food and the service. I highly recommend it! We had some Nigiri’s and Sashimis along with some rolls of Salmon Avocado, California, Prawn tempura etc.., all were top notch. Definitely coming back more often.
Honestly it was good.. but a bit chaotic. They had so many missing things. They didn’t even have salmon at some point.. which is not what you expect from a sushi restaurant on a friday night. But besides the fact they didnt have salmon, most of the hot things on the menu, the japonese drinking wine, dorayaki, crunchy roll…. We had a good time because the service was good and what we ate was nice
Hidden Gem! This easygoing local Japanese spot is a real find. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is warm, and the food is fresh and authentic. Perfect for a casual yet satisfying meal. Highly recommend!
I came in on an early afternoon on a weekday so it was empty when I got there. The prices are pretty fair and the sushi quality is mostly great. However I didn't really enjoy the hot food as much, the karaage was a bit clunky and not very crisp. Also, the tamago was not defrosted all the way when I got it. I eat tamago nigiri at almost every sushi place I try since tamagoyaki is one of my favorite dishes and I do notice that a lot of places usually just defrost a premade/prebought block and serve that, which is fine I guess since so many places do it, it's kind of unavoidable I just wish my tamagoyaki was a little less..frozen in the middle Overall though, the place is cute and affordable and on a busy road with lots of other things to do, and the chef was pleasant to chat with and friendly. Would be a great weeknight sushi spot, just stick to the sushi and you'll be good.
I have tried a lot of sushi in london and this is by far some of the best sushi I have had. Not just at the price point which is very reasonable but full stop compared to many of the much fancier dining spots I have been to in london. If you are in east london or going to Victoria park - get this for lunch - it is actually unbelievable. The service was also very very nice
Delicious sushi at a very reasonable price. Will revisit P.S. 1) The avocado nigiri is absolutely delicious. 2) I spent more ££ as I had 2 pints
Today we came here for lunch takeout & ordered the poke bowls. She gave us ice cold water whilst we waited as it is almost 30°C outside, then we enjoyed our tasty bowls at the park. They were super yummy and I will definitely come back again soon! Thank you so much
